Mystique Motors operates this website to help customers learn about our services and schedule appointments. We make reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate but make no warranty that it's error-free or always current. Pricing, availability, and service offerings can change without notice.
Booking an appointment online creates a request to bring your vehicle in. We confirm the appointment by text or email after we receive it. An appointment is not a contract to perform any specific repair — actual work depends on inspection and a separate, written authorization from you.
Diagnostic fees, parts, and labor are quoted before any work begins. No repair is performed without your written or recorded authorization. If during the work we discover something that materially changes the cost or scope, we contact you for a new authorization before continuing. This is required under California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) regulations and we follow them.
A diagnostic fee may apply when we evaluate your vehicle. If you authorize the recommended repair, the diagnostic fee is often applied toward that repair (subject to our current policy at the time of service). If you decline the repair, the diagnostic fee is still owed.
Payment is due when the work is complete and the vehicle is ready for pickup unless we agree to other terms in writing. We accept the payment methods listed at the shop. Vehicles may not be released until payment is received.
Our work and parts carry the warranty stated on your invoice. Warranty does not cover normal wear, damage from accident or misuse, or work performed by another shop after ours.
After we notify you the vehicle is ready, we may charge a daily storage fee for vehicles left at the shop beyond a reasonable period. Vehicles left for more than 30 days after notice may be treated as abandoned under California law (including the mechanic's lien provisions of California Civil Code §3068), and we may exercise any rights available to us.
Providing your phone number or email constitutes consent to receive communications from us about your service. Standard rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing messages anytime (reply STOP to texts or click unsubscribe in emails). Transactional communication about your active service will continue.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mystique Motors' liability for any claim arising out of this website or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or loss of use of your vehicle.
The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent allowed by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ventura County, California.
We can update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
